Brett Idema joined Kerkstra Precast in 2007 after 10 years in other areas of the underground construction industry. Brett is a 1996 graduate of Davenport University with a BBA in Accounting. Brett is responsible for our pipe sales at KP. His other responsibilities include quoting jobs, detailing manholes, invoicing and inventory management.
“From the very first day that I started at Kerkstra Precast,  I was impressed by all the things everyone would do to take care of the customer. I thought I knew what customer service was all about, however until seeing the Kerkstra way I really did not know anything. It still amazes me how we will get a last minute order here at Utility Products sometimes as late as 3:00-4:00 in the afternoon, the plant produces the piece or pieces and has them ready to ship the next morning. The really interesting thing is that everyone works together to make it happen without a second thought.”
