Dr. Pepper & Snapple Bottling Plant
State: Michigan Completed: 2014
Dr. Pepper Snapple Group needed to update their warehouse and bottling facility – the old building was completely torn down for a new, 100,000sf building to be put in it’s place. Since this was an existing, fully operational facility – the construction needed to happen fast. This led the owner and general contactor to precast. The building was designed with precast insulated wall panels. All 33,400sf of wall panels were delivered and installed in 10 working days. This fully enclosed the building helping other subcontractors quickly get on site to begin their work. Precast wall panels greatly reduced the construction schedule as compared to if traditional building products would have been chosen for this project.
