State: Michigan Completed: 2010
Prior to expansion, the Farmer’s Insurance campus in Grand Rapids was severely overcrowded. Employees were sharing desks, closets were turning into work spaces and the building was just busting at the seams. Executives decided to add a brand-new state-of-the-art office building to house all of their employees and allow room to expand in the future. At it’s opening, the building housed 500 staff members with additional capacity for the 1,600 employees that company was looking to hire.
This office building was constructed with a Total Precast structure and Architectural Precast spandrels including Foundation Walls, Columns, and Architectural Spandrels. Precast helped convey the company’s strong image while maintaining the flexibility the growing corporation needed most.
"Your team took on the challenge and helped provide creative solutions while maintaining quality."
