This project was a new printing and storage facility, an addition on the existing building, for the FP Horak Company in Bay City, Michigan. The goal for the new building was to match the tilt up panels of the existing building. The customer was very pleased with the finished product and the speed of erection.
In order to accomplish the window system that was required by the owner, Kerkstra used 3-3-6 insulated composite wall panels in the office area. Total there was 33,303 square feet of insulated panels, 6,210 square feet of 8” solid panels, and 648 square feet of 8” Hollowcore. Reveals were also featured on the outside of the building.
